A strong earthquake struck Islamabad and nearby regions today, causing panic among residents who rushed out of their homes and offices.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located in northwestern Kashmir. The tremors were felt at a depth of 10 kilometers, and citizens in Hunza also reported feeling the shakes.

Authorities confirmed that no immediate casualties or financial losses have been reported so far. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and follow safety protocols in case of aftershocks.
