Chairman of the Intermediate Board Karachi, Faqir Muhammad Lakho, has announced that position holders from government colleges will be awarded electric bikes as part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s nationwide student initiative.
🎓 Scholarships & E-Bikes for High Achievers
Alongside the bike distribution, the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA) has pledged to offer full scholarships to position holders, enabling them to pursue further studies free of charge.
A special ceremony is being organized where top students, their parents, and distinguished guests will be invited. The electric bikes, already delivered for the event, will be handed over to the students during the function.
Officials confirmed that this program will continue every year until 2030.
🚴 Nationwide Scheme Details
This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s broader plan to promote eco-friendly transport across Pakistan. Under the scheme:

100,000 electric bikes will be distributed among outstanding students.

3,000 electric rickshaws and loaders will be provided to unemployed individuals.

All education board position holders nationwide will benefit from the program.
The scheme not only rewards merit but also encourages the adoption of electric vehicles to reduce fuel consumption and pollution.
